This website uses almost no cookies. We believe a charity's website should practise the same restraint it preaches — so we keep nothing that follows you around the internet.

1. What we store

We use one single entry in your browser's local storage:

2. What we never use

• No analytics cookies or services (no Google Analytics or similar)
• No advertising or retargeting trackers
• No social-media tracking pixels
• No session or login cookies — the site has no accounts

3. Third-party content

We load our two typefaces (Fraunces and Nunito Sans) from Google Fonts, which may record the request as fonts are fetched. We link to third-party sites (Instagram, Facebook, X, Google Maps); those sites operate under their own privacy and cookie policies once you leave ours.

4. Your choices

You can dismiss the notice banner with the "Understood" button, or clear the stored entry at any time via your browser's site-data settings. If you decline or clear it, the banner simply reappears — nothing else on the site is affected.
