Helping a Brave Sickle Cell Warrior

Chidera in her home seeking for help

Recently, a young woman lnamed Chidera, iving with sickle cell anemia reached out to GAP International for help. She is an orphan with only her sister to support her, and she was struggling to afford the medications and blood transfusions she desperately needed.

Understanding her situation, we stepped in and provided 85,000 naira to cover her medical expenses, ensuring she could get her drugs and a vital blood transfusion.

This act of support not only gave her relief but also showed her she’s not alone in her fight. Her courage inspires us, and her story reminds us of the importance of lending a helping hand to those in need.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of many others like her. Let’s keep spreading hope.
